When I first started scrapping, I made a kit for my Mama. It was probably my 4th kit or so. My Mama passed 8 years ago this month. It's been a struggle for me to be honest, dealing with her passing. Trying to understand and come to peace not only with that but a lot of things that have happened in my life. She was a wonderful mother, who sacrificed more than anyone I knew. She kept us together and raised us with morals and standards. I love her so much and so thankful for who she was in my life and her role as a mother. She had been sick over the years, dealing with a lot of health issues and disabilities. But through it all she made sure we knew she loved us. When I had Otelia, my oldest daughter, she told me Otelia saved her. I truly believe that. They were the best of friends, they did everything together. When Christopher came along it was the same thing. She loved them with everything she had in her heart. I will forever cherish her memory and her life.
This kit was designed for her and the colors she loved. I hope you all enjoy this kit as much as I enjoyed making it.
