Freebie Alert! Boo Party

My birthday happens to be the day after Halloween, November 1st. Growing up I LOVED my birthday! Not only did I get candy on Halloween I got cake the next day lol. My mom always threw me these awesome birthday parties. Yes it was a Halloween birthday party. Totally awesome and I have wonderful memories even now after she's gone. When we moved to where we are now, I found out my neighbors son shares the same birthday as me! Ironically Kim throws the same kind of party for Dillen each year. Being able to go through all that with him and share our day makes things even better. I love it and it brings back even better memories. I created this kit with that in mind, a halloween birhtday party kit lol. It's something I've been working on, on and off. I'm sorry it's not as big as the other's but my mojo for it kinda went out the door lol None the less, I hope you all enjoy! Download it HERE

Freebie Alert! Former PTU now FTU!!!!

When I first started scrapping, I made a kit for my Mama. It was probably my 4th kit or so. My Mama passed 8 years ago this month. It's been a struggle for me to be honest, dealing with her passing. Trying to understand and come to peace not only with that but a lot of things that have happened in my life. She was a wonderful mother, who sacrificed more than anyone I knew. She kept us together and raised us with morals and standards. I love her so much and so thankful for who she was in my life and her role as a mother. She had been sick over the years, dealing with a lot of health issues and disabilities. But through it all she made sure we knew she loved us. When I had Otelia, my oldest daughter, she told me Otelia saved her. I truly believe that. They were the best of friends, they did everything together. When Christopher came along it was the same thing. She loved them with everything she had in her heart. I will forever cherish her memory and her life. This kit was designed for her and the colors she loved. I hope you all enjoy this kit as much as I enjoyed making it. Blessed be to everyone. Below you will see a layout I made awhile back with the kit and her picture. Download the kit HERE

New PTU kit! Tea Time

One of my best childhood memories was playing tea party with my best friend Bev. We would get out her little tea set, set it up on her strawberry shortcake desk and sit around like delicate little princess'! I wanted to put together a kit that showcased the fun of that time and the cuteness. This is a tagger size kit, papers are 800x800 in jpeg format. Elments are large tagger size in png format. All created in 300 dpi. Purchase it from TWilight or Scrappetizing on the 50% off sale!

Freebie Alert! Brat Pack Blog Train! Awareness Theme

This month's blog train is the Awareness theme. I was super psyched about this one, especially since I hadn't done a train in awhile. I wanted to make this one a dedication to my friend Georgi. Georgi lives with RSD- Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome. It's a debilitating disease, one that takes over your life. My heart often aches for Georgi and the pain she endures and lives with. She's an amazing mother and wife, incredible friend. I love her so much and wish there was a way to take away some of the pain she lives with. To know Georgi is to honestly love her. She has this wicked sense of humor and never a dull moment! She has such posititivy in her, it's just wonderful. Over the years I've talked with Georgi about RSD, Made her stuff, and supported her. I've learned more about RSD and the severity of it. There isn't a lot of light shed on this disease. I hope to rectify it. Please go to the RSD website and educate yourself! Because this kit was for Georgi, I wanted to make it something totally about her. She's a goth girl like no other! She loves everything goth and dark. The awareness ribbon color is an orange color, so I jumped at the chance to use these killer color combo's! Georgi, this one is for you...I love you!!!!!
